The Isles of Greece! Is an interdisciplinary faculty-led study tour in Greece offered by the University of South Dakota. The course is open to students from other institutions. The three-week course involves one land-based week, including time in Athens, and two weeks based on sailboats, sailing different itineraries each year in the Greek Islands and coastline. The course has been run most summers since 2005. The Isles of Greece! Dates are May 14 - June 7, 2018. For details see the current prospectus.

Where Kenya Find Brennan? Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Yesterday there was an explosion at mall in downtown Nairobi. In the last few months there have been several small grenade attacks in Kenya, mostly on the coast and in Garissa-a region bordering Somalia. For the most part these attacks have been blamed by Somali militants associated with Al Shabaab, although this explosion currently has no identified cause.
Thursday, December 15, 2011. 14, 2011 Brennan got her braces off! She was so excited when I texted her at school to tell her that I had to move her appointment to a week earlier because of a schedule conflict. They took off the brackets, cleaned the cement, made impressions for her retainers and made her temporary retainers. She came straight to my office for a cleaning and xrays, which showed NO CAVITIES! The BUILD research laboratory in the Psychology Department at Emory University is led by Professor Patricia Brennan and Dr. Katrina Johnson, and is focused on the study of child development and psychopathology from a biosocial perspective. Our research has been funded by grants from NARSAD, Scottish Rite, The Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation, and NIMH. We are grateful to the participants who have given their time and energy to our studies and projects.
